The AAA Project hit another major milestone this month as land clearing began on the site of the former New York Sports Complex and surrounding areas, making way for the highly anticipated AAA Recreation Center.
Heavy equipment was brought in to clear, excavate, grade, and prepare the site for the foundation. The AAA Project is an expansion of the Moosehaven campus including a new Sports and Recreation Center and Riverfront Pavilion. It symbolizes a new chapter for our retirement community, where staying active and engaged is at the forefront of our mission, and is being made possible by the fundraising efforts and generosity of Moose members nationwide.
The new Recreation Center will feature 26,495 square feet of state-of-the-art amenities including an indoor heated swimming pool, showers, gym/fitness center, multi-purpose room for group dance and exercise classes, bowling alley, electronic darts, billiards, indoor shuffleboard, golf simulator, poker room, game room with retro pinball machines, a centrally located beverage bar, and an outdoor patio with seating area and a fire pit. The AAA Pavilion will be located on the riverside of the campus and will host a variety of outdoor activities.
This progress reflects our commitment to enhancing the Moosehaven experience by providing modern amenities in a vibrant, inviting environment.
