Moosehaven residents were excited to welcome NASCAR’s Ross Chastain, driver of the No. 1 Moose Chevrolet, for a special visit that revved up excitement throughout the campus! Known for his tenacity on the track and his genuine connection with fans, Chastain is also a proud member of Tice and The Shores, Florida, Lodge #1297. A true Moose at heart, he often takes time to visit Moose lodges across the country during race weekends, strengthening ties within the Moose community wherever he goes.
Moosehaven residents had the chance to meet “The Melon Man” himself, who shared stories from his career and answered questions about life in the fast lane. True to his roots as a Florida native, Ross’s warmth and humility made a lasting impression.
The event wasn’t just about racing — it was about connecting generations and celebrating shared values. Chastain’s visit highlighted Moosehaven’s commitment to fostering memorable experiences that enrich the lives of its residents. From heartfelt conversations to photo opportunities, the day was a testament to the power of community and the joy of new connections.
Thank you, Ross Chastain, for making a pit stop at Moosehaven — you left us all cheering for more!
