Moosehaven welcomed residents and guests to its Train Room on October 3, bringing train enthusiasts together for a day of model railroading. Visitors enjoyed detailed layouts featuring realistic scenery, intricate tracks, and a variety of trains running through miniature towns and landscapes. Rail fans shared stories and exchanged tips on building and maintaining model railroads.
The train room is one of the many amenities in Moosehaven’s Vivian Borom Activities Center, which also houses a country store, watering hole, ice cream shop, library, gift shop, computer shop, tailor, watch repair, and dedicated rooms for puzzles, crafts and sewing, ceramics, and videos.
